I have been designing and developing websites since the mid-1990s. I first started creating websites using Netscape Composer, one of the first WYSIWYG editors. From there I moved on to GoLive and Dreamweaver. The end of the 1990s saw the beginning of interactive Flash-based websites, which led to my continued interest in digital animation.
I quickly saw the importance of being able to write my own sites, learning how to write HTML and CSS. I learned PHP through my Masters program at the same time clients were requesting WordPress to be able to manage their own content. As with all of my design, I approach website design not only to provide the client with an aesthetically pleasing site representing them in the best possible way, but I also consider the end user to create superior interactions and design the site so that the information the user is seeking is quick and simple to find.
